Halloween in London for Kids of All Ages
Here are my favorite ways to spend Halloween in London with kids, no matter what ages. These are all great family-friendly activities that adults will actually enjoy, too!
1. Go Trick or Treating in Your Neighborhood, or a Posher One

Trick-or-treating in London has grown massively in popularity in the last 10 years, and most posh neighborhoods are great spots to pound the pavement with your little ones.
Hampstead, Chelsea, Camden, Notting Hill and Marylebone are all great, or if you know your neighborhood will be offering candy, stay close to home!
2. Check out Your High Street Events
Most high streets will have their own trick-or-treat trails where businesses offer buckets of candy for the wee ones. These are really fun community events, so check your local Facebook page or neighborhood app to find out what’s happening near you.
3. Go Pumpkin Picking
We’re not exactly in rural farmland here in London, but you can still pick a pumpkin! Pumpkin patches come to cool central London locations like Covent Garden, or go a bit further afield to one proper pumpkin patch. Wear your wellies!
4. Carve Your Own Pumpkin, Without the Cleanup
The worst part about creating this quintessential experience for your kids? The gloppy, slimy mess. But you can pay to have someone else clean up the stringy bits, such as at Osterley House, Stanley Arts, Class Bento, or the incredible Chelsea Physic Garden.
5. Boo at the Zoo

Is it even Halloween if you don’t see a hippo eating a pumpkin? Trek over to Boo at the Zoo at London Zoo for Halloween treasure trails, themed eats and drinks, and see your favorite animals get in on the spooky fun.
6. Hobbleween at Hobbledown Heath
Make some spooky potions, join in on a Halloween storytime, search for treasure on the Halloween letter hunt, and get in on the spooky costume contest! Hobbledown Heath in Hounslow has so much to do and see, it’s worth the trek from Central London on the Piccadilly.
7. Sip a Spooky Afternoon Tea
